We craft our Swept Stools from a range of sustainably sourced timbers.  White Oak and Black Walnut from North America are standard options, but we are able to source a range species to suit your personal taste.

The final stage in crafting our furniture is to apply a special hardwax oil over the entire surface. This visually transforms the raw timber and enhances its colour, whilst maintaining that familiar and natural textured feeling of wood. We have found this type of finish not only looks best, but is nicest to the touch allowing an unrivalled closeness. Importantly, it provides a high level of protection without the use of harsh chemicals. If damaged, the finish can be rejuvenated with ease giving you the freedom to use your furniture as intended.

We are a one person workshop and take extreme care and time in properly creating each piece. Our lead times are heavily dependent on workload. Please allow 8-10 weeks for your furniture to be made. If time is sensitive then make sure to contact us before placing your order and we will strive to accomodate your circumstances.

We have worked hard to design and craft our Swept Stools it into what you see today, but if you want to customise certain aspects we are always happy to discuss this with you. Pick up the phone, send us an email or fill out the form here and we’ll work this out together. We get excited talking about furniture, so if you’re in the mood then you can count on it that we are too.

Our workshop is located just outside of Alstonville, NSW.
